creak STRASBOURG
The CREAK competence center at the Strasbourg University Hospitals is coordinated by Doctor Marie-Caroline TAQUET in collaboration with Doctor Marie-Caroline DALMAS, in the internal medicine department on the Hautepierre site. It receives patients referred by their treating physician or a specialist physician for suspected hereditary or acquired bradykinin angioedema. Patients whose diagnosis is confirmed are then monitored over the long term and benefit from therapeutic education.

A WORD FROM THE STRASBOURG TEAM
Doctors TAQUET and DALMAS receive patients in specialized consultation for diagnostic advice and follow-up and respond to requests for advice from doctors involved in the care of our patients.
Children are cared for in the pediatrics department by Dr. Sarah JANNIER.
Individual and group therapeutic education sessions are offered to the patient (learning in particular how to manage these crises and self-injection) thanks to a multidisciplinary team (nurse, pharmacist).
The center is also involved in training emergency physicians and allergists on this pathology and participates in clinical studies linked to CREAK.
