A WORD FROM THE LILLE TEAM
The Lille constituent site is a reference in the North of Paris. We provide diagnosis and management of patients with bradykinin angioedema in adults and children.
We have organized a care network including internists, immunologists, dermatologists, stomatologists, pediatricians and pharmacists. Thanks to the funding obtained, a nurse is dedicated to monitoring and caring for patients, which allows, in particular via a therapeutic education program, a personalized approach. The constituent site is also associated with the PLEMARA rare disease platform which provides a social worker who can help patients with their procedures. We are developing significant clinical and translational research, actively participating in all therapeutic trials, allowing us to offer patients the latest innovations.
The Lille constituent site is also associated with a laboratory identified as a Reference Medical Biology Laboratory (LBMR) for the exploration of pathologies related to the complement system (contact: aurore.collet@chu-lille.fr; sylvain.dubucquoi@chu-lille.fr). Our laboratory works in close collaboration with the 2 other national LBMRs (Grenoble, Chantal DUMESTRE PERRARD; Paris: Véronique FREMEAUX BACCHI)
